Could This Be Pubic Lice?

I believed I have lice cos my genital area has been itching quite a lot! I didn’t have sexual contact with anyone but I have an older sister who has been itching down there as well. She is sexually active with her boyfriend and I believed she got it from him and she transfer it to me. Is this possible?

If your sister have been sexually active with her boyfriend, it is most likely she got it from him. Pubic lice are transmitted through sexual interaction and it is possible that your sister transfer it to you after been infected by her boyfriend. Crabs can survive one day away from the body and it can be passed onto bed sheets, towels, clothing, etc… and if you have been sharing beds, clothing or towels with you sister than it is most likely your sister passed it on to you.
