Lack of sexual desire!

I have been experiencing lack of sexual desire in the past 2 weeks. I have been working long hours couple of days and I have been stressed out quite often. I am 25 years old female and I didn’t have sex with my boyfriend for 2 weeks due to lack of desire. Could this be caused by stress and depression?

Lack of sexual desire can be caused by physical factor or psychological factor or both. Stress and depression are some of the psychological factor that can cause lack of sexual desire. It is normal to feel lack of interest in sexual activity sometime as long as it doesn’t lead to distress. As mentioned before hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) is the most common sexual problems experience by most women. Women with HSDD may experience anxiety during sexual interaction and this could lead to distress.
