I have been experiencing lack of sexual desire in the past 2 weeks. I have been working long hours couple of days and I have been stressed out quite often. I am 25 years old female and I didn’t have sex with my boyfriend for 2 weeks due to lack of desire. Could this be caused by stress and depression?

Lack of sexual desire can be caused by physical factor or psychological factor or both. Stress and depression are some of the psychological factor that can cause lack of sexual desire. It is normal to feel lack of interest in sexual activity sometime as long as it doesn’t lead to distress. As mentioned before hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) is the most common sexual problems experience by most women. Women with HSDD may experience anxiety during sexual interaction and this could lead to distress.

Stages and symptoms of colon cancer!
If I am bleeding during bowel movement, is this the symptom of colon cancer? I have been noticing blood in the stool after bowel movement and this has happened few times recently and is this early stage of colon cancer?
Ask by anonymous
Response by Tmastery
Colon cancers can be present in the body for several years before you can notice any sign of symptoms. Some of the symptoms associated with colon cancer may include constipation, narrow stools, blood in the stool, and rectal pain. The only way to be certain is to have colon cancer screening which is used to detect colon cancer. There are three types of test than can be performed and these include colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and barium enema x-ray.
Colonoscopy use a flexible tube with tiny camera attached, the tube is inserted into the colon through the anus and the doctor can examined internal colons for sign of cancer.
Sigmoidoscopy also use a flexible tube with tiny camera attached, the tube is inserted into the colon through the anus and the doctor can examined internal colons for sign of cancer.
Barium enema x-ray involves the use of barium liquid and x-ray to detect cancer in the colon.
Once the cancer has been detected, ultrasound and CT scan can be use to determine the stages of the cancer.

Cervical cancer treatment!
What are the different types of treatment for cervical cancer other than hysterectomy? Let say if a person does not wish to have surgery, is there an alternative treatment just as effective as hysterectomy?
Ask by anonymous
Response by Tmastery
There are different types of treatment for different stages of cervical cancer. Early stage of cervical cancer can be treated with loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP), cryotherapy or laser therapy. LEEP involve the use of electricity to destroy abnormal tissue, cryotherapy involves freezing abnormal cells, and laser therapy uses light to destroy abnormal tissues.
Most of the time advanced stage of cervical cancer is treated with hysterectomy because the cancer has spread to surrounding tissues. This type of treatment involves surgery and depending on how far the cancer has advanced, the operation performed may involve removing the uterus, the cervix, and the upper part of the vagina.

Breast cancer treatments?
How is breast cancer treated? What are some of the treatments for breast cancer and what is the best treatment available today for treating this disease?
Ask by anonymous
Response by Tmastery
Before any treatments can begin, doctors will have to perform diagnosis to be certain the cancer is present. Some of the tests performed by doctor may include mammography and ultrasound. If cancer is detected in the breast tissues, further testing is required to determine the stages of the cancer. Breast cancer treatments may include chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy and surgery.
The types of treatment used depend on the stages of the cancer. Early stage of cancer can be treated with surgery alone or it may involve a combination of treatments such as chemotherapy after surgery. Cancer that has progressed to later stage always involves a combination of treatments to treat the disease that may have spread to other part of the body.

What is menopause?
I like to know what is menopause? Is this something that I have to worry about at young age affecting my sex drive and mood swing? Is this also going to prevent me from having baby?
Ask by anonymous
Response by Tmastery
In general, menopause is a result of hormonal change where a woman stops ovulating. This usually occurs for women between the ages of 40s and 50s, but this can also occur to women in the early thirties or late sixties. There are many symptoms associated with menopause and some of which include low sex drive, mood swing, hot flashes, night sweats, and insomnia. When a woman stop ovulating during menopause means she is no longer having periods and she can never get pregnant or bear child. If you are still young in your 20s, this is not something that you should worry about at the moment.
